Visual effects & Motion Graphics

This video was created for NSCBC's "Vision Night".  The purpose was to narrate the history of the church and get people excited for the vision of things to come.

The animation was created in After Effects, based on illustrations created in Illustrator and Photoshop.

This was an effects shot I created for a friend's movie.  Motion tracking was done in Mocha, and all compositing in After Effects.  VideoCopilot's Action Essentials 2 was used for stock footage, and some smoke and debris elements were created from scratch in After Effects.

This was a senior project that I co-produced, as well as serving as assistant camera, and visual effects lead. A main theme of the film was the impact of social media, so the opening montage is a trip through various social sites as news of a tragedy spreads. Also included are shots of superimposed text messages and twitter feeds as the characters use their phones. The twitter shot also includes a TV screen replacement. All effects were done in After Effects.

In college, I did graphics for an ICTV show called "Big Red Faceoff", which followed the Cornell Hockey Team.  This is a collection of transitions, lower thirds, and other graphics that I created for them to overlay during live broadcasts.  Most of the graphics were created in Blender, with compositing done in After Effects.

This animation was created based on the client's logo using Adobe After Effects.

This logo was animated as part of my work as A/V lead at Silver Spur Camp.  It was used in all the videos for that summer.
